Pumpkin & Sweet Potato Puree For Little Ones

Thinking of giving Pumpkin puree to your little one then try this combination to make the puree even healthier and tastier. It's highly nutritional and tastes wonderful. 

Pumpkin is a good source of Vitamin C, Potassium, Vitamin A, Magnesium, Zinc & Fiber. They are a good source of Antioxidants. Pumpkin is known to be helpful for eyes vision and immunity.

Sweet Potatoes are a good source of fiber, potassium, vitamins, and other essential nutrients. It contains good fiber, so it helps to improve gut health. Sweet potatoes are a good source of Vitamin A, which acts as an antioxidant. It is also a good source of Vitamin C, so it supports the immune system and enhances iron absorption.

Ingredients: (1) Pumpkin, (2) Sweet Potato, (3) Ghee (as required), (4) Coriander, (5) Onion, (6) Water, (7) Black Pepper

Cooking Method: 
1. In a large pot, cook onions & coriander in ghee for 2 minutes. Add water & allow to simmer for 5 minutes.
2. Add pumpkin and sweet potato cut pieces and bring to a simmer, allow to cook properly until they turn soft.
3. Now transfer them to a blender (or mixture) and blend to get a puree texture. Add a pinch of black pepper.

 

Suitable Age: 8+ Months and Above
