Apple, Broccoli and Carrot Puree For Little Ones

Try this nutrient-rich and tasty recipe at home. A combination of Apple, Broccoli, and Carrot is rich in nutrients and make the meal for little one fulfilling to their tummy and taste buds.

Apples are rich in Fibre & Vitamin C. It contains Vitamins A, Vitamin K, and Group B Vitamins, and Minerals like Calcium, Potassium, Phosphorus & Manganese. These nutrients are helpful for a growing child's requirements.

Broccoli is one of the most nutritious vegetables. It has Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, B2, B3, and B6, Calcium, Fibre, Omega-3, Protein, Folate, Iron, Phosphorus, and Potassium. Richness in nutrition promotes immunity, bone & joint development, healthy digestion, and more.

Carrots are a good source of beta carotene, potassium, Vitamin K1, Fiber, and Antioxidants. It improves immune function and reduces the risk of illness.

Ingredients: (1) Apple, (2) Brocolli, (3) Carrot, (4) Black Pepper

Cooking method: 
1) Wash and Clean Apples, Carrots, and Broccoli properly. Peel and chop Apple and Carrot. Cut Brocolli florets into small pieces.
2) Put them into a steamer and let them steam/boil for 10 minutes until they turn soft.
3) Once cooked, drain the water and allow it to cool down. Transfer to a blender, add little water (as per the required consistency), and blend until it becomes a smooth puree.
4) Add a pinch of black pepper and mix it well.

 

Suitable age: 8+ Months and Above
