Herbs Infusion For Breastmilk Production

Breastmilk production is a common concern among new mothers. Most times, it is just about appropriate lactation guidance that can solve the problem of low breast milk supply. Traditional herbs can be helpful. There are limited extreme cases wherein breastmilk production is not possible because of genuine reasons or medical conditions.

It is highly recommended that new mothers take the guidance of a lactation consultant/healthcare professional before adding any food or herbs to the diet.

Sometimes, there is sufficient breastmilk supply but the problem could be others like, feeding position, baby unable to latch properly, baby blues or stress during initial days, etc. As the day passes things get resolved. Adding herbs or food to increase breastmilk production without knowing the reality during such time may increase breastmilk supply unnecessarily.

So what is the right way? Well, if a baby stays hungry all the time and the only problem is low breastmilk supply then first-time mothers should do is -- consulting lactation consultation for accurate advice. As per your need, they will guide you.

However, in normal cases when things are just normal and breastmilk production is not poor then traditional herbs and food are good to include in daily diet.
